She was born, as a wolf, in Montana and lived there for the first part of her life in a happy sort of bliss. Werewolves in Freya's world are born as wolves and learn to turn into humans. They aren't able to go to public school until they are able to control their shifting and keep the secret of their lineage. She had one brother and three sisters which is uncommon in most wer families. Werewolves are always large families and there are usually more males than females.
Freya's father was killed when she was 9 years old. He was captured and tortured under the orders of a vampire who was determined to rule over humans like a god. The goal was to gather information about the werewolves in Montana, who were one of the largest werewolf packs in the United States. Freya's extended family has since been fractured to about half of it's original size.
Even after her fathers death, her and her family were happy. There were always reasons to smile and her extended family often helped when it was needed.
When Freya was 15 years old her family was killed. She survived by hiding under her mothers dead body. All she remembered from that night was a large daunting figure and the rain. She has been traveling across the U.S. since with detours to other countries for the last eleven years. Her only goal to avoid Montana and remain dead in the eyes of her extended family and enemies.
When she was 19 years old she met Matias. Matias is a werewolf who was part of a pack in Ohio. There was something broken in him and he was by nature sadistic. He hunted and ate humans who get lost in the desert and upon seeing Freya knew he wanted to take her as his mate. The encounter was short but shook Freya and stayed in her memories. Freya managed to escape from the unstable male and began to consider Ohio on her states to avoid. Matias can't leave his territory without killing his whole family first. He is determined to find her and make her claim him.
From then to now, Freya traveled across the U.S. meeting people and enjoying the freedom that her life allowed her. She has stories of crazy adventures but her favorite moments are ones where she can simply run free.
What put an end to this wayward adventures was meeting a werewolf family know as the Allaway's. They are one of the key werewolf families that are combating those who killed Freya's family. Freya was slowly growing close to them when Catrina, the youngest of the Allaway's, convinced Freya to go home. It took a lot of badgering but Freya eventually relented on the condition that Cat join her. They set out together and while it's a step forward Freya still feels as if she's running away from something, however what that something is has slowly begun to change.

Freya's world isn't very different from modern day. There is just one important part that's different and that's the world of the Hidden. The Hidden are species like Freya who seek to keep their secrets and oddities away from the public eye. There are many types of Hidden and not all of them are known. Freya doesn't know much outside of her random travels around the world. Other than the Hidden there is no difference between modern day 2017 and her world. Species information can be found here. While Freya's world is very flushed out, it's mostly in small details since everything is based on current day.

Freya is a werewolf and can turn into a wolf. Below are weaknesses as well as the abilities that she has. She can shift whenever but her clothes don't shift with her, which is why she always has her backpack.
WEAKNESSES
Silver: Wounds caused by silver or silver plated weapons heal at a normal human rate and can cause death if life-threatening. Can die of silver poisoning if the weapon (bullet) is not removed fast enough
Decapitation: Decapitation, whether shifted or not, will instantly kill them.
Chocolate: Fatal, causing an allergic reaction, much like the one caused in dogs.
STRENGTHS - Human Form (It isn’t anything crazy. Freya's strength lies in her speed not brute force.)
Enhanced strength, Accelerated healing, heightened sense of smell & hearing & sight, more agile than a normal human, Increased Strength, Durable
STRENGTHS - Shifted (If a dog can do it so can she.)
Greatly enhanced strength, Very durable, Capable of healing most wounds instantly, Bloodhound-like senses of smell, hearing & sight, Able to leap upwards to four stories in a single bound
● strengths:
Freya's energetic and enthusiastic. Ascribing to a 'live-in-the-moment' mentality. This was a trait that was instilled in her since she was very young. Her favorite game to play is fetch and she likes to find those small reasons to smile. She takes things as they come and moves with the flow of whatever is going on around her. She loves traveling and likes to put herself outside of her comfort zone so that she might be able to experience life. She's determined to spend the rest of her life free to do what she wants.
She is a survivor and quick on her feet in a crisis situation. She survived the murder of her family by hiding under her mother's corpse and has been assumed dead since. She's constantly moving and thinking ahead. She isn't just intelligent but also has the street smarts to back it up. That said, Freya is very smart and mechanically minded, she has attended a college courses and has an interest in engineering and design though most of her ideas work with renewable energy sources. She really loves the planet and doesn't want people to hurt it. She's passionate about the things that she loves and stubborn when it comes to her opinions on things. It's okay if someone proves her wrong because she loves to learn new things.

She dislikes committing to things for fear of losing them though that doesn't stop her from following her instincts. Her race are born as wolves and learn to transform into a human shape, making her instincts call to her far more keenly than a human's would. That said, when she has to choose between fight and flight, she will always choose to run. After losing everything important in her life, Freya can't help but be very flighty
Her intelligence is also a weakness because it makes Freya logical, practical and cold. She approaches things as if they need to be solved or at least analyzed and understood. Not all emotions can be solved so it makes it hard for her to relate to others pains.
Freya is also very distant from the human world. Due to the nature of her travels she spends a lot of time with people but there are some things that people do that she just doesn't understand. It's not in the instincts of wolves and, while she tries really hard, she can't wrap her mind around it. It makes her very judgmental when she's talking about the human's as a species.
● job skills (optional): Freya will be surprised that she's being offered a job but she's a Mechanical Engineer who is skilled with and interested in languages. She knows French, Japanese and Arabic the best and clips and phrases of other languages that are mostly based off of places she's traveled.
