Freya moved to where the sand was dray and unlaced her shirt, pulling the black fabric over her shoulders and down her arms. She was wearing a black lacy bra, one that she kept in her backpack but rarely wore. Tonight she'd worn it to remind her not to shift.
Her light eyes moved back to Thorfinn as her fingers pushed at her skirt revealing thin black underwear. "I want to stay here too." The difference between them was that, should Freya be sent home, she'd just be alone again, wandering, lost and displaced. There was nothing for her at home and there was a fear in her chest that bubbled and pulsed the closer she got to Thorfinn and the others here. Freya wasn't sure if she could survive alone anymore.
"I very much enjoy the way you think Thorfinn." She kicked her skirt inland and then stepped towards the water. Once again the water swirled around her ankles. Her tattoo's were all that she had and like this he could see them all. Her hair was still braided and her fingers tugged at it, allowing the silky strands to loosen and fall around her thin shoulders.
She walked slowly out into the lake, her chin looking up at the sky. "Sometimes I think that it's just a bright light and someone threw a blanket over the earth and poked holes into it." She laughed turning towards Thorfinn with a smile.
