"Oh man! Wait, I have to try a thing." She swam closer and then placed a hand on his arm to drag herself behind him. She then ran a finger down his spin to see what happened. It always sent chills through her and it'd been something a friend from school taught her. Middle school kids were weird.

His eyes tracked her until she was behind him.
He stayed still curious, his back straightening as she did until she neared the base of his spine, and then she won a days old bet. A laugh escaped him. She found a ticklish spot.

"I FOUND IT!"
She was to happy about this and was now not going to stop, unless he stopped her.

"I knew I'd find a spot."

He had lied. "You get to know, no one else... and if you tell I will introduce you to a world of pain." His skin was sensitive on some of his thicker scars. "We also had a deal, if you found a spot I get to tickle you." His lips slowly curled into a wicked grin.
no subject
"No one else? I can't imagine you introducing me to pain." She had a high pain tolerance though he was one of the only people who knew what silver did to her.
Freya swallowed when he recited the deal. She'd honestly forgotten that part. "Oh, no. I don't remember that being the deal." This was a moment where not wearing a shirt was going to be Freya's downfall because her stomach was very ticklish.

"You never know." He knew he'd never hurt her, and despite his threat he was pretty sure she knew he wouldn't ever raise a hand to her either. Unless they were mutually agreeing to brawl. Then it was fine.
"Oh but it was, I don't forget bets." He moved a touch closer as his hands moved towards her, for her sides first.
no subject
"Nope!" She tried to wiggle away, pressing her hand against his chest and squirming. She didn't know if it was habit or fun but she didn't use her full strength but the strength that any girl her size might have had.
"You chose poorly." Her sides, thank heaven's weren't ticklish.
no subject
"No fair, you protest to much." He spoke in a teasing way, moving his hands up towards her underarms, he had seen it done before, but he didnt do it a lot himself. for obvious reasons.
"I will try again until I find a spot."

The worst part about laughter was it was hard to focus on anything else. Her legs flailed and her hips wiggled while her arms clamped tightly at her side. She dipped a bit into the water before her shoulder thudded softly against Thorfinn.
"Okay, okay, you found one now stop looking." She had more ticklish spots than she cared to admit.

"Looks like I won now."
no subject
"If you tickle me to much I'll flinch when you reach towards me. Just so you know." Tickling felt like more of a threat than pain.

Sick men didnt reach valhalla.
"I wont tickle you if you do not want. I simply like winning."
no subject
"We can get out." The cold didn't affect her like it did others. She rarely got sick. Freya kicked her legs towards the shore and once she was past Thorfinn she smiled. "I'll race you!" She kicked her legs hard and spend forward in the water.
She liked winning too.
Freya didn't actually mind him tickling her. She just wasn't sure if he was going to want to find more of those ticklish spots. She thought about telling him something she'd read online about tickling but then, she realize, he might really stop.

"Yeah well, its about the same here, Freya. You've helped me learn to be a person again more than you realize. I like your laughter because it shows your still alive inside. You haven't let them beat you." A hand reached up, brushing a finger under her chin. "Your still fighting and that is what I mean by it's beautiful. Like a siren."
no subject
She watched Thorfinn step forward, her smile warm while her eyes danced with excitement. "I think you were more of a person than you think Thorfinn. It's just easier to see those parts of yourself when someone else sees it first." She felt her cheeks flush and without the protection of the water she wondered of Thorfinn noticed. His finger felt warm against the chill that covered her skin. It was a light touch and yet she gave him the control to move her chin, her eyes met his and she felt her chest shutter uncomfortably. She had no idea what was happening.
"A siren?" Freya had no idea what he meant, her thoughts turned to slowly to really process what he'd said. "It's like you. I didn't know I was strong until someone else saw it."
