Freya rolled her shoulders in a shrug the muscles in her back rippling with the motion. Her strength, speed and stamina was that of a humans but she was built well and in shape. She'd spent her life running and that simple fact hasn't changed. "I don't really care one way or the other." Yes, she preferred to be able to shift but she'd been taught not to shift in front of others. When she was young there were very strict rules around it. To keep them hidden. What was natural could be arguable but if Thorfinn didn't mind then she wouldn't worry about it. She didn't shift in front of all that many people and it was usually only when she had too.

She wondered what was natural. Was this natural? As Freya flexed she began to feel more comfortable in her own skin. As long as she didn't try to shift, the awkward crawling sensation wasn't there. For now, she'd play at being human. It was weird to think about but she'd try and remind herself.

Freya smiled affectionately as Sylvi bounded into the water. The little pup was a good swimmer and watching her reminded Freya a bit of her youngest sister. While Sylvi begged for Thorfinn's attention Freya dipped herself beneath the water, disappearing beneath the calm rippling currents. The water was freeing and for a few short seconds she lingered beneath the surface, floating as if the world around her might drift away. She felt her lungs burn before pushing her way back up towards the waters surface. Her hair clung to her cheeks, neck and back as she turned towards Thorfinn and Sylvi. Her fingers began to move through the tangled mess, releasing the knots before twisting the blond mass and moving it to drape over her shoulder. The bruise on her shoulder had begun to show, the pale hue of her skin darkening to purple and black.

"That felt nice." It was all she really wanted to do in the water. "And I've decided I want to braid your hair. I'll be quick and you can take it out later if you want."
