"You did." He responded with a soft look. "I think she does, but its not mutual. I could never be with royalty, thats my hang up. She wanted a friend and she has one, two if you and her hit it off well, I want to see her taken care of and not suffering but I cant and wont ever be more." He explained just the same as he had before.
"We could ask other people to help but, honestly I think whatever we choose will be best." He admitted his thoughts. Being around the woods and water is enough for me, as long as I have you I don't care." he was going to have to find a ring, he knew that much but he had a few months to worry about that. He knew he would have to talk to Jo, Ragnar and Bull, and Thor of Course, but he wasn't sure how to bring it up. He'd figure it out. He was good at problem solving and ready to deal with burned bridges if need be.
When her arms wrapped around his waist he wrapped his own arms back around her to hold her closer, feeling a little more at ease. He smiled down at her and shifted them, he had to use a lot of his arm strength but he pulled his knees from under him so he could lay them back into the grass. "You wont hear me say no."
