Freya had gotten Sylvi and then met up with Thorfinn. It was New Years Eve and Freya had wanted to sit somewhere where they'd be able to watch the stars. It was a mountain on Nidus, close enough to everything but far enough away that it felt like they were alone. The hill they were sitting on let me see over most of the buildings, all the taller castles and structures were behind them.
It was fifteen minutes to midnight though Freya would have to ask Thorfinn if they can watch his watch together. She had her phone but had decided not to bring anything else with her. Unlike the other days of Yule, Frey hadn't dressed up. She was wearing a cute dark purple and black tank top and her usual black pants. She still wasn't wearing shoes and she'd occasionally wiggle her toes against the ground to feel the dirt sink between them.
"Thanks for coming out with me tonight Thorfinn. Oh, I think I can see your fathers boat." She pointed to the lake where sure enough, his boat sat. "I actually have been crashing there so thanks for that. I've also been trying to find as many small compartments as possible."
