She called out and started to move to where he was. She had no idea what he was doing and she didn't realize that he was coming back for her.
Freya felt the tug on her ankle and a startled gasp left her lips. Before she was pulled under she managed to close both her eyes and her mouth. Once she was beneath the water she tried to dive at Thorfinn though she didn't know where he was. Freya kept her eyes closed and relied on touch and the currents of the water to find him.
