Freya didn't seem that concerned. She just smiled at Thorfinn and continued to play in the water. When he ducked under she paused waiting for him to come up. The longer he was under water the more nervous she got and the more she began to try and see through the surface of the water.

As wonderful as her vision was, it was to dark to see.
