Freya listened as she gently kicked her legs. She liked the feeling of the water dripping over her calves before dropping her leg back into the lake. She never had problems touching people she considered close. It was a wolf thing but also something she had missed over the years. She didn't understand the reasons herself, it just felt right.
Her head tilted to the side, her hair continuing to fan out like a halo. "I've seen you smile." Freya was sure of that much. "I'm used to sleeping outside too. I thought, maybe that's why I can't just move into a place but I don't know." She's gotten a lot of offers but nothing has felt right and after a few days she feels restless and ends up moving somewhere else.
"I don't think I have any strengths." Freya continued to look up at him, watching him against the backdrop of the sky. The sky behind Thorfinn looked so fake compared to him. A flash of a memory, a dream, entered Freya's thoughts. She felt her hand release from Thorfinn's shoulder and in a moment of panic her face sank into the water. She kicked herself up looking a bit like a surprised and alarmed puppy.
